Steve Stevens Rebel Yell Tone Master Pro preset

This preset is based on the Billy Idol track "Rebel Yell" and I have created a base rhythm preset, intro scene and solo scene to play all the parts. Use the preview button above to download a demo audio file and see the instructions for installation and usage below:

Installation instructions

Important - This preset uses the latest 1.6.38 firmware

• Open the Fender Pro Control app on a desktop computer (Windows or Mac).You can download the app and necessary drivers if you are a Windows user from the following page:https://www.fender.com/en-US/guitar-amplifiers/contemporary-digital/tone-master-pro/2274900000.html
• Ensure that to connect your computer to your Tone Master Pro via USB.
• Unzip the ‘JGG Steve Stevens.zip’ file to your computer.
• Open the Pro Control app ensure you are in the “My Presets” section in the left nav and simply drag the unzipped ‘.preset’ files onto the app, this will in turn install the preset on your Tone Master Pro.

Usage

The base preset with no footswitches activated is the rhythm tone, I used 2 tracks panned L+R for the demo track using this tone.

This preset contains 4 footswitch assignments. The first is Intro, I used the neck humbucker on my Ibanez RG550 for the demo, you may need to tweak to match the output of your pickups especially a single coil.

The 2nd footswitch is the solo scene, use this for the guitar solo and when you want the raygun sound hold down the “Raygun” footswitch which is setup as momentary so the effect will stop when you release the footswitch.

Finally there are a couple of places that Steve gets some amp feedback happening for the rhythm guitars, the Feedback Generator footswitch is also momentary so hold it down while you want the effect and release to make it stop.
